Introducing: Ady Suleiman

Last summer Ady Suleiman filmed with us in the YouTube Space London, recording both an original song (Out Of Luck) and a cover. Arguably his version of Miguel’s ‘Quickie’ beats the original… shh check out Miguel’s video and then Ady’s version below and see if you agree?

Ady went to uni in Liverpool, after which he headed to Nottingham to progress his musical career, only to follow the music down to the bright lights of London. Ady's soft raspy voice is his calling card, though it doesn't compromise the laid back flow of his songs nor does it reflect on the hard-hitting subject matter he writes about. A quick listen to the harrowing narrative of Out of Luck and State of Mind shows Ady knows how to write about thought provoking topics, something  you wouldn't necessarily expect from someone with Ady's vocal style.

It comes as no surprise that Ady has come a long way since leaving Liverpool, under the watchful eye of SYCO his latest EP ‘What’s The Score’, (which features Joey Bada$$) was released at the end of last year. With more music on the horizon for Ady, he's definitely one to watch over the next 12 month. Make sure you find him on social media and keep him on your radar.
